My target audience for my thriller, a tainted Love will be around 15-40 year old's, both male and female.
Women will be drawn to watch this film due to the power that Sophia has. She represents a powerful women who has a very dramatic and strategic job which empowers women to feel strong. There is also apart of a film that demonstrates the two characters being in love. This genre of romance will attract a female audience and allow them to relate more with Sophia. Men will also watch the film due to the action/thriller side to my genre. Guns, women and action, although very stereotypical to assume will attract a male audience as these are the 3 key elements to a tainted love. Having my assassin as a women is a role reverse as its usually a male, this will also intrigue a wider range of my target audience as its something they are not used to or haven't seen yet.
My target audience will be at this certain age range for a number of reasons~
1. Below 15 years old would be inappropriate due to the us of guns and violence which may be disturbing for younger viewers
2. Audience above 40 may be uninterested in this type of action/thriller due to the faced pace and violence that it entails. Also having a women assasin is not seen as very femine and people above 40 have different perceptions of gender roles and therefore may be uninterested in this film as they feel it is unrealistic.
3. Having such an age gap is important as different parts of the film relate to different ages for example the love scene may be more for women in there 20's but the violence can appeal to men from ages of 15 to 30. The twist will also intrege the top end of my target audince due to the mystery and shock that it brings to the storyline.
4. My actors are also very important as they are young. This therefore means 15-20 year old's can relate more to them as actors and thus appealing to a younger audience as well.

Main Tasks- Props
For the shooting scene i needed a blood stained pillow, i used a mixture of red water colour and domino sauce as it had the right texture for a more realistic appearance. I also used a fake gun as a prop which was also very realistic.
Main Task- The location for filming
For the bedroom scene i wanted it to be as normal as possible. This is were the filming will take place and the more realistic the background is the more effect my film will have on the audience. The layout of the bedroom also allows me to film from very different angles around the bed getting a variety of shots to keep the audience interested and engaged in the film.
I decided to film my opening scene outside in the snow. This was very difficult to start of with as i had to make sure the light wasn't to intense on my actors faces as it was masking their expressions. It proved to be very helpful as once i had selected the right exposure on the camera i managed to us the natural light which reflected of the snow. This meant less time was needed to light the scene and really complimented my theme of romance and was a beautiful background to film on.
